Wallaroo is very well serviced by a major medical centre, hospital and ambulance service.

Sporting Clubs:
A wide range of sporting clubs are active in Wallaroo including Lawn Bowls, Croquet, Tennis, Pistol Shooting, Golf and Sailing.

Shopping:
Historic main street provides a wide variety of interesting shopping. A large supermarket provides excellent service for food shopping. For those who require more, Woolworths, Target and a wide range of shopping is a short trip to Kadina only 8 klms away.

Things to do:
Wallaroo is the epicentre of the copper triangle towns, and has many fine examples of colonial architecture. Guided tours through the town's streets are available, with guides from the Wallaroo Museum on weekends, alternatively a copy of the guide sheet is available from the museum for visitors who prefer to see the town at their own pace. The Wallaroo Mines site is also open for a sign-posted walking tour.

Fine dining is available at a number of hotels in the town and on the waterfront at the award winning Boat Shed Cafe.
